The Lagos state government created a judicial panel to listen to all complaints about police brutality and the ill treatment of the police officers on civilians.
the sitting commences today, it started around 11:25am with Rinu and Temitope at early arrival. they handled two petitions, first between Mr. Okoye Agu vs FSARS and the case between Mr, Ndukwe vs SARS.
Mr. Ndukwe came in a wheelchair with his mom, apparently, SARS officers put him in that situation. what a said story. the case was adjourned to 3rd November, 2020.
I’m at the Lagos Judicial Panel of Enquiry sitting. First observation, they’re late. #EndSARS

During Mr. Abu’s testimony, the retired policeman on the panel asked the obviously poor not-wealthy man if he had petitioned the IG of Police.

That ridiculous question needed to be immediately challenged. But no challenge happened.
I was disappointed.
