The Skin is a Beverly Naya film, is a detailed exploration of skin bleaching. In the film which has finally launched on Netflix, Beverly Naya interview several people as she travels through Nigeria.
The interviews were raw, candid, and open as well. The topic of skin bleaching becomes a prevalent thread in the story. In the documentary, one major take out is that almost all of the women discuss skin bleaching as something that is done for the affection of men.

Although it is not clear if he had sex-change surgery, he has changed from her black complexion to a far lighter complexion that makes her appear more feminine.
