American rapper, Fred the Godson has died after he revealed earlier this month that he was suffering from Coronavirus.

The 35-year-old rapper first revealed he was in the hospital and placed on a ventilator on April 6, with his wife explaining he wasn’t faring well.
He reportedly started to make positive progress in hospital, but he ultimately lost his battle against the virus on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon (April 23), the hip-hop community mourned the death of New York MC Fred the Godson, who died due to the coronavirus, according to his close collaborator Jaquae. He was 35.
“My little brother ooooh how sad am i, i prayed and prayed and prayed for you all night long,” Fat Joe wrote on Instagram.
